FILIPINO actress Kim Chiu looked radiant in her flowing peach-blush gown as she graced the carpet of the Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 at the KBS Hall in Seoul on Sept. 25.
The “It’s Showtime” host took to Instagram to share her stunning look to receive her Outstanding Asian Star plum from the awards-giving body.
Chiu was wearing a Francis Libiran creation that is made elegant by an asymmetric ruffled shoulder and high-slit ethereal draping.
“I’m in absolute disbelief and beyond grateful to attend this kind of international award-giving body. It feels surreal, like a dream I haven’t quite woken up from,” wrote the actress in her caption.
“I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who believed in me, supported me, and helped make this possible. This moment is something I will cherish forever,” she added.
In the comments section of her post, fellow celebrities, including her on-screen partner Paulo Avelino, extended their congratulations to Chiu.
Prior to the red carpet, the “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” actress also sported two different looks to celebrate her being honored at the prestigious awarding ceremony.
Chiu first displayed a sleek chic style, wearing a black long-sleeve crop top paired with a high-waisted black mini skirt. She then exuded pure sophistication in her second look, donning a black gown with a strapless neckline and a plunging front cutout.
Aside from Chiu, Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon from “Lovely Runner” of South Korea, Siti Saleha from Malaysia, Desmond Tan from Singapore, Ochi Rosdiana from Indonesia, and Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn from Thailand were honored with the same award.
The actress-host previously bannered Filipino pride at the Content Asia Awards in Taipei, Taiwan, earlier this month, as she was nominated for Best Female Lead in a TV Programme/Series for her performance in the drama series “Linlang.” (Jessica Ann Evangelista © Philipine Daily Inquirer)
