AKLAN – Over P500,000 worth of property went up in smoke after a fire hit a sari-sari store and razed three motorcycles in Sitio Balilisaw, Barangay Bubog, Numancia town in this province.
The Numancia Fire Station said the fire broke out at the store owned by couple Mark Jan and Divine Testa past 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25. The store was made of mixed concrete and light materials.
Fire officers said the Testa family went out and no one was at the store during the fire.
The Numancia Fire Station added that there were no casualties or serious injuries reported but the cause of the blaze was still under investigation as of this writing./PN
