JULIA Montes and Sam Milby arrived in Palawan for the shoot of the new Kapamilya series “Saving Grace.”
On the Instagram page of Dreamscape Entertainment, snapshots of the cast members arriving at the airport were posted.
“Julia Montes, Zia Grace, and Sam Milby received a warm welcome as they arrived in Puerto Princesa to shoot for their upcoming series, Saving Grace!” the production outfit wrote.
Fans online were quick to react to the post.
“Balik tambalan na ulit si Sam at Julia,” one fan wrote.
“So happy for this team up and new project for Julia Montes,” another fan commented.
“Saving Grace” is the Philippine adaptation of the acclaimed 2010 Japanese series, “Mother.” The show is a joint production between ABS-CBN Studios and Japan’s top entertainment giant, Nippon TV.
The local adaptation marks the 10th version of the show, which has been adapted in various countries such as Thailand, Turkey, Spain, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and China, among others
As per the show’s IMDB, “Mother” follows the story of an elementary school teacher who decides to abduct one of her female students after she discovered that she is being abused by her mother.
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Julia shared why “Saving Grace” is special and personal to her.
“Special kasi talaga sa akin iyong project kasi iyon ‘yung last na usap namin ni Sir Deo (Edrinal),” she said.
The actress added: “Yung plan for ‘Saving Grace’ is really big and iyong story, ang ganda noong story and maganda yung lesson and story na gusto sabihin ng serye.” (ABS-CBN News)
