ILOILO City — A 37-year-old painter was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation carried out by the La Paz police station early yesterday morning, November 19, in Barangay Divinagracia, La Paz district.
Joshua Godilano was caught around 12:40 a.m. Police confiscated from his possession a total of eight plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 30 grams and with an estimated street value of P238,000.
Also seized was P6,500 in buy-bust money.
The suspect was detained at the La Paz police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
