ANTIQUE – Three minor earthquakes hit this province on Wednesday night, January 8, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
At 7:43 p.m., magnitudes 2.1 and 2.4 earthquakes hit Culasi town with a depth of 21 kilometers and Tibiao town with a depth of 23 kilometers, respectively.
The third tremor, at magnitude 2.5, was felt around 7:54 p.m. also in Tibiao.
Phivolcs added that no reported damage to properties in the three tectonic quakes.
On Sunday, January 5, a magnitude 3.3 earthquake also struck Culasi.
In a bulletin issued by the Phivolcs, the earthquake of tectonic origin was recorded at 1:48 a.m. It had a depth of focus of 10 kilometers. N damage or aftershocks was recorded./PN
