AKLAN – A 31-year-old man lost his life in a brutal stabbing incident in Barangay Fulgencio, Balete town here over the weekend.
Authorities identified the victim as Chelmar De Jose while the suspects were Ron Reimar “Meloy” Dalida and Ronmar “Rambo” Dalida, all residents of the barangay.
Initial investigations revealed that Dalida brothers approached the victim and started a physical altercation on Saturday, February 8.
Witnesses reported that both suspects appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
Balete police said after punching De Jose, the suspects chased him down and stabbed him multiple times, resulting in fatal injuries.
The suspects fled immediately after the attack, prompting an ongoing manhunt operation by the local police.
Officers of the Balete police station urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward and assist in their apprehension./PN
