ANTIQUE – Fernando Ticwan, a senior citizen member of the Indigenous Peoples community in Tobias Fornier, appealed for help after a fire gutted down his house in Sitio Pantad, Barangay Igcalawagan.
He said any form of support would be greatly valued as he tries to restart his life following the tragedy.
At around 11 p.m. on February 25, a fire broke out destroying Ticwan’s home.
Authorities said the blaze originated in the kitchen and quickly consumed the whole house made mostly of light materials.
Ticwan however managed to save several belongings like the mats, pillows and blanket.
The town’s fire officers, as of this writing, have yet to determine the cause of the fire that left around P20,000 worth of damage./PN
