KAPAMILYA star Ivana Alawi denied rumors circulating on social media about her being diagnosed with cancer. In a recent event where she sat down with the media earlier this month, the YouTube vlogger explained that she only had the flu recently and nothing more.
Ivana maintained that she is healthy and they don’t have a family history of anyone being diagnosed with cancer.
“Actually, ito lang nung last week nagkatrangkaso kasi sunod-sunod talaga ‘yung trabaho. Pero so far, ‘yun pa lang and [I’m] much, much better na and medyo lumusog ako ng very light kasi nga dahil dun sa tubig and all that,” she maintained.
She assured everyone that she is doing well and denied the fake news going around social media.
“Now, it’s getting much better at walang katotohanan ‘yung magkaka-cancer ako. Hindi ‘yun true. ‘Wag kayong mag-alala, wala kami nun sa lahi,” she expressed.
Ivana added how her mother was also worried about her condition after seeing the fake news on social media. She recalled telling her mom to relax as she knows she won’t have the serious illness.
“Yung mama ko nga nag-alala dun tapos inaano niya ako. Sabi ko, mama, kalma. Wala tayo niyan, walang mangyayari sa atin,” she relayed.
The Kapamilya actress then shared she isn’t scared of dying as she knows everyone will also face the same thing in the future.
“Wala naman makakapag-predict kung kelan ka mawawala, and it’s not something you should be scared of kasi lahat naman tayo darating dun. Ang nakakaalam lang ay ang Diyos,” she ended.
Previously, the “Batang Quiapo” actress was hospitalized due to the fluid she had in her stomach. She has since recovered from her illness and even made a vlog about it to share her experience with her fans. (PUSH Team)
