A press presentation and festival costume competition will follow on March 22 at SM City Bacolod Event Center, and corporate day and talent competition at Ayala Malls Capitol Central Event Center on March 23.

Reigning Lin-ay sang Negros Kyla Rose Romarante will relinquish her title to the new queen at coronation night on March 28, 7 p.m., at Panaad Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan.

Lin-ay Sang Negros is one of the highlights of the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2025.

Dubbed as Negros Occidental’s “mother of all festivals,” the 29th Panaad sa Negros Festival was officially launched on February 28 at the Provincial Capitol Park and Lagoon.

This year’s festival with the theme, “The Future Unfolds,” will officially open on March 24.

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said the Panaad sa Negros Festival is more than just a festival.

“It has been a symbol of our heritage, a showcase of our resilience, and a testament to our shared aspirations,” he added./PN
