BACOLOD City – A 19-year old man died from drowning after he fell into a river in Purok Saging, Barangay Bunga, Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental.
Don Salvador Benedicto police said the victim identified as alias “Ken”, a resident of the said place, had a seizure attack when he fell in the waters.
Initial investigation revealed that the victim suddenly ran towards the river and accidentally fell on Saturday morning, March 22. He was reported missing at around 8:35 a.m.
The victim’s body, which was in the early stage of decomposition, was fished out of a river on Sunday night, March 23.
The victim’s mother confirmed in an interview that her son was suffering from epilepsy./PN
