VISITING Hong Kong Disneyland isn’t complete without experiencing the thrilling rides. The “Happiest Place on Earth” had made me conquered my fear of even just riding the small ferris wheel back in my hometown.
I missed to experience the Frozen Ever After boat ride but I bravely hopped on, with my groupmates, of course, to Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. This high-speed, family coaster exclusive to World of Frozen is a must-try amusement ride if you who want to experience the thrilling sensation of high-speed excitement for the first time. As guests slide into the sleigh, they will find themselves zooming across hills, through caves and over fjord waters, taking them on an exciting adventure through the natural beauty of Arendelle!
My Disneyland ride adventure continued with Grizzly Gulch and Hyperspace Mountain [the scariest ride I had so far]. The last one I tried, and the best one for me, was “taking flight with Iron Man above Hong Kong.” It was totally awesome that you would never get tired to try it again and again!
The highlight of our Hong Kong Disneyland adventure was the nighttime spectacular “Momentous.” It is definitely Hong Kong’s greatest evening experience. Momentous brings the iconic Castle of Magical Dreams to life as well as takes guests on a wondrous journey through life with 20 minutes of music and memorable moments filled with magic and light that illuminate the night sky.
DAY 3
Another thrilling destination is the Ocean Park Hong Kong. This world-class theme park has something to offer for everyone – from panda and other animal encounters to hurt-pumping rides.

We started off our adventure here with the giant panda adventure. We visited Ying Ying and Le Le, and their twin cubs, and the red panda among others. Ying Ying is the oldest giant panda on record to have successfully given birth for the first time.
We were also fortunate to step into the immersive attractions of Panda Wonders: An Illuminated Journey.
And yes, the Grand Aquarium amazed us, too. It brought us to a multisensory journey from the shore to the darkest depths of the ocean. It was followed by our polar adventure where we visited penguins, and experienced several thrill rides such as the Arctic Blast.

With fun activities and rides, dining spots and educational options, Ocean Park Hong Kong indeed makes a perfect day trip.
Meanwhile, we ended our Day 3 at Hong Kong’s Central District, the city’s central political and business district. Aside from several arterial streets here – Queen’s Road, Des Voeux Road, and Connecticut Road to name a few – there are also many restaurants and fashion stores here.
We explored Central Market here, formerly one of Hong Kong’s first wet markets. And of course, we never missed the Central-Mid-Level Escalator. This popular attraction is an 800-meter-long system that opened in 1993 and is known as the world’s longest outdoor covered escalator.
Other must-visit places at the Central are the Hollywood Road wall art murals, Police Married Quarters, Lan Fong Yuen, Bakehouse, and Goods of Desire, among others.
DAY 4
Our last day in Hong Kong was a day of shopping!
We first had our lunch at Azure 80 before we explored Harbour City – the all-in-one shopping, dining, entertainment and sightseeing in this vibrant city.
Spanning an area of over 195,000 square metres of prime real estate, Harbour City is Hong Kong’s first and iconic shopping mall. Located in the heart of the city alongside the stunning Victoria Harbour for over 50 years, Harbour City offers a wide range of shopping, dining, entertainment and sightseeing experiences as a major tourist attraction in Hong Kong.

It is definitely a one-stop shopping paradise and leisure destination with over 450 shops, 90 food and beverage outlets, an art gallery, an observatory deck, three hotels and a cruise terminal all under one roof.
After here, we were all excited to go to Mong Kok. The iconic one-kilometer-long Ladies’ Market here is a lively shopping paradise featuring rows of open stalls offering discounted fashion items. Women’s wear, accessories, gadgets, travel essentials, and souvenirs, all at irresistible prices, are all around. Just don’t be shy to haggle your way to a great deal as most items here are open to offers.
