ILOILO City – Fire razed a stall in the new public market of Estancia, Iloilo.
The stall of Lanie Barreta of Barangay Botongon was totally burned.
Damage was valued at P1 million, said Senior Insp. Lorenez Losaria, chief of the Estancia municipal police station.
Gone with the fire that struck around 10 p.m. on Friday were assorted retail items, mostly plastic ware and ready-to-wear clothes.
Losaria said the cause of fire was yet to be determined./PN
