BACOLOD City — Negros Business Week, a showcase of products and services from various establishments in Negros Occidental, will open today at the Robinsons Place mall here.
The Negros Occidental provincial government tapped the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) to organize the event.
“Several small businesses in the province will display their products at the mall from July 7 to 13,” said Frank Carbon, MBCCI president.
Acting Governor Salvador Escalante and Mayor Monico Puentevella will grace the opening ceremony, according to Carbon.
Representatives from government financial institutions like Land Bank of the Philippines and Development Bank of the Philippines, and businessmen will be present, too, he said.
“The event will also include a trade fair and exhibits of products from Asian countries like China, Thailand and India,” Carbon said./PN
