BACOLOD City – Hotels are now “90-percent” booked for the MassKara Festival.
City Tourism Officer Ma. Elma Gerasmo said they are expecting all 71 accommodation establishments to be fully booked by October.
She said they may have to offer a homestay program — private houses offering rooms to accommodate tourists — again this year.
With the help of the Provincial Tourism Office, Gerasmo said they may also refer visitors to hotels and pension houses in the nearby component cities of Talisay and Silay./PN
