ILOILO City – A 50-year-old wanted man was caught in Barangay San Salvador, Banate, Iloilo.
Rogelio Asunan was charged with illegal drug possession. On Tuesday around 6 p.m., the police served his arrest warrant.
Judge Felipe Banson of the Regional Trial Court in Silay City issued the arrest warrant.
A few years back, Asunan was busted for drug peddling in Silay City but managed to flee. The police, however, still filed charges against him for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
After his arrest, Asunan yielded three more plastic sachets of shabu.
The suspect was taken to the Banate police station./PN
