SAN JOSE, Antique – Police in Antique arrested six suspected drug pushers in a series of operations on Tuesday.
Three were caught in San Jose, one in Hamtic, one in Bugasong, and another in Barbaza, the Antique Police Provincial Office said.
Arrested in Barangay 1 here were Grace “Inday” Pasaylo, 39, of San Jose; George “Joel” Contreras Jr., 47, of Anini-y town; and Rey Dan “Moks” Deloroso, 33, of San Jose.
According to the San Jose police, the suspects were newly included in their watch list of drug personalities.
Pasaylo yielded two sachets of suspected shabu, including the one she sold to an undercover police officer for P500.
Cash worth P2,490, a cellphone, a lighter, and aluminum foil were also recovered from her.
Contreras, on the other hand, yielded another sachet of suspected shabu and a cellphone.
Deloroso served as lookout during the transaction.
In Hamtic, municipal police officers arrested Melchor“Pakong” Baleña, 33,in his house in Barangay Lapaz-Tubog.
Two sachets of suspected shabuwere recovered from him.
Antidrug police officers in Bugasong and Valderrama also caught MarjoyPon-an, 49,in Barangay Camanggahan, Bugasong.
Pon-an, a resident of Barangay Ilaures, Bugasong, yieldedthree sachets of suspected shabu, a magazine for a .45 pistol loaded with six live bullets, a knife, and a cellphone.
The 36-year-oldXymonMagtulis was also arrested in Barangay Capoyu-an, Barbaza.
He sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P300.
Magtulis also yielded two sachets of suspected shabu, cash and a cell phone./PN
