ILOILO City – A boardinghouse in Barangay Dungon A, Jaro district was raided. Operatives of the Regional Public Safety Battalion 6 and Jaro police station arrested three drug suspects.
Those arrested were Rodini Cordero, 33, of Barangay Cubay, Jaro; James Ted Catanag, 19, of Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro; and Joan Daquiranay, 33, of Barangay Cubay.
The raid was conducted around 3:55 p.m.
The police recovered from the boardinghouse sachets of shabu worth P50,000, drugs paraphernalia and P5,000 cash.
As of this writing, the police was preparing charges against the suspects for drug trafficking./PN
