BACOLOD City – Three drug pushing suspects were collared in separate operations of Police Station 1 and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG-Bacolod) before dawn yesterday.
First to be arrested were Gilbert Dadivas and Rodjan Pelagio, both of Purok Cadena de Amor, Barangay 11.
Around 12:30 a.m., cops seized from them several sachets of suspected shabu.
Last week, they were subjected to an entrapment but managed to escape.
Three hours after Dadivas and Pelagio’s arrest, Victor Rojo of Purok Masinadyahon, Barangay 12 was collared at the Vendor’s Plaza.
Around 3:30 a.m., CIDG-Bacolod operatives confiscated from Rojo sachets of shabu, one pen gun and bullets for a .38 and .22 handguns.
All the three suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 but Rojo faces an additional charge of violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
As of this writing, the suspects were at the detention cell of CIDG-Bacolod./PN
