BACOLOD City – Nineteen colorful and intricately designed masks with fabulous headdresses are now on exhibit at the second level of a mall here.
These are entries to the Mask-Making Competition of the mall in partnership with the Silver MassKara Festival Organization, the organizer of the 37th MassKara Festival.
The exhibit opened on Oct. 14 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Councilor Em Ang, the festival action officer of the city government; MassKara Festival director Eli Francis Tajanlangit; Christine Tomas, marketing manager of Robinsons Place Bacolod; and Joseph Sian, Robinsons operations director for VisMin malls.
The exhibit of the mask entries will run until Oct. 21, the day of the awarding ceremony at the mall’s fountain area at 4 p.m.
The champion will receive P20,000 cash prize; first runner-up – P15,000; second runner-up – P10,000; third runner-up – P4,000; fourth runner-up – P3,000; and consolation prize of P1,500 each for non-winners./PN
