ILOILO City – The Transportation Management and Traffic Regulation Office (TMTRO) is looking for at least 30 new traffic and police auxiliaries.
Hiring additional workforce is part of TMTRO’s organizational development, according to Robert Foerster, officer-in-charge.
“Kinahanglan naton i-improve ang [pagmanehir] sang traffic naton,” Foerster said.
The TMTRO currently has about 290 traffic auxiliaries, or enforcers.
Police auxiliaries, on the other hand, shall help monitor peace and order, said Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.
Basically, “sila [ang] mangin force multipliers sang police,” the mayor said in his radio program on Sunday.
They shall also help the city government’s Special Service Unit in monitoring vendors in non-designated areas.
“Ang police auxiliary ma-roving na sia,” said Mabilog. “Makita [naton] damo subong mga vendors nga naga-plastar sa indi amo nga lugar kag indi masarangan [i-monitor] sang SSU [alone].”
Applicants for traffic and police auxiliaries must be a college graduate and of good moral character, Foerster said.
Those interested may inquire at the TMTRO at the fifth floor of the Iloilo City Hall for more details./PN
