ILOILO City – In Barangay Manoc-manoc, Boracay, Malay, Aklan a 29-year-old meat vendor was arrested for an unlicensed gun.
Yesterday Jerome Sarol was taken to the island’s police station around 12:10 a.m.
Concerned citizen John Jancinal complained to the police that the suspect entered Chynn Chynn meat shop armed with a .38 revolver.
Responding policemen apprehended Sarol after failing to present documents proving his legal ownership of the gun. The gun was loaded with five bullets.
Sarol faces a charge for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
