ILOILO City – In Barangay Malitbog, Bingawan, Iloilo a man was arrested for illegal gun possession.
Salvador Santiago, 35, was a resident of Barangay Dalusan, Maasin town. He was taken to the Bingawan police station.
The suspect’s arrest warrant was issued by Judge Threresa Enriquez Gaspar of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 33. The police served it to him around 6 .m. yesterday.
Santiago has been charged with violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
As of this writing, it was unclear if Gaspar was able to post bail that the court set at P120,000./PN
