ILOILO City – Seven sachets of suspected shabu were seized from two alleged pushers in La Paz district and Lambunao, Iloilo.
Alfonso Lim, 39, of Barangay Bito-on, Jaro district and Danny Legarda, 50, of Barangay Cubay, Lambunao, Iloilo were caught in separate police operations.
Police arrested Lim, a fish vendor, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Caingin, La Paz.
They recovered three pieces of suspected shabu on top of the one he sold to an undercover officer for P300 around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
It was learned the suspect already surrendered to the police in July in line with Oplan Double Barrel.
He was detained at the La Paz police station lockup cell.
Around 7 p.m. on the same day Legarda was caught in another buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion Ilawod, Lambunao, Iloilo.
Legarda yielded three sachets of suspected shabu and P500 cash.
