ILOILO City – A gang of eight men attacked two brothers in Barangay Tabuc, Suba, Jaro district.
According to 24-year-old Steve Van John Lopez, he was mauled around 10:50 p.m. on Nov. 6.
Younger brother Nico, 23, tried to help Lopez but he was hit with a broken bottle on the right arm.
The gang fled.
The Lopez brothers had themselves treated at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Steve Van John sustained cuts and bruises while Nico had a wound on his right arm./PN
