ILOILO City – In Barangay Jalandoni Estate, Lapuz district, a man charged with carrying a “deadly weapon” was arrested.
Around 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 15, the 27-year-old Alvin Plaga was taken to the La Paz police station.
Plaga was charged with violating City Ordinance 138 that prohibits the carrying of deadly instruments such as bladed weapons.
The arresting police officers were armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Raul Facon of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 4.
As of this writing, it was unclear if Plaga was able to post bail that the court set at P2,000./PN
