BACOLOD City – A plumber was arrested for illegal possession of firearms on Thursday in Purok Progreso, Barangay Sum-ag.
Ruben Planta, 46, a resident of the barangay, yielded one improvised firearm and one .38-caliber pistol with live ammunitions.
Planta’s wife complained to the police that at dawn on Thursday, the suspect pointed the muzzle of his improvised firearm to her while their children were sleeping.
The suspect also pointed a gun to his son, Rex, his wife added.
Detained, Planta is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms And Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
