BACOLOD City – The Cauayan police are preparing to file a parricide case against a 24-year-old man who hacked his father to death on Friday in Sitio Calampisan, Barangay Inayawan.
Jenel Colmo, a resident of the barangay, reportedly hacked his father, Carlito, 52. The victim, who sustained wounds on his neck and body, died on the spot.
Police Chief Inspector Ruben Fajarito disclosed that the incident happened after the two had an argument while drinking.
According to their neighbors, Carlito would always blame his son for simple troubles.
The suspect was arrested./PN
