BACOLOD City – Buy-bust operations in Escalante City and EB Magalona town led to the arrest of two drug suspects.
On Tuesday, the Escalante City police collared Ranel Bustamante Cosio, 19, a resident of Purok Matinumanon, Barangay Dian-ay.
Confiscated from him were two sachets of suspected shabu in exchange of P1,000 marked money; one Samsung cell phone; and other drug paraphernalia.
In EB Magalona, Senior Inspector Bonifacio Aral identified the suspect as Rolando “Nonong” Drilon, a resident of Barangay Poblacion 1 in the town.
Aral disclosed that the suspect has been subjected to several antidrug operations but was able to elude arrest. He was arrested on Tuesday.
Recovered from him were four sachets of suspected shabu including the buy-bust item in exchange of P500 marked money./PN
