ILOILO City – In Barangay Buenaflor Embarcadero, Dumangas, Iloilo a theft suspect was arrested.
Meloy Derotas, a 38-year-old resident of Barangay Lacturan, Dumangas, was served with an arrest warrant on Sunday around 10 a.m.
Judge Vicente Go of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 68 issued the arrest warrant.
Derotas was detained at the Dumangas police station. It was unclear as of this writing if he was able to post bail.
For the suspect’s temporary liberty, the court set the bail bond at P20,000./PN
