ILOILO City – Ilonggos will have a whole new shopping experience as S&R Iloilo opened on Dec. 16.
The grand opening was graced by Sen. Franklin Drilon, Iloilo City mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, Vice Mayor Joe Espinosa III, Puregold chairman Lucio Co and some S&R executives, among others.
In his speech, Drilon expressed his confidence on the business growth of S&R in the city.
“I’m confident that you [S&R] will be able to succeed in your business endeavor,” he said. “And I encourage you to look around and you will see the potential market in Iloilo City.”
Located in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district, the store offers a broad selection of imported groceries; health and beauty essentials; household necessities; premium home appliances and furnishings; fruits and vegetables; fresh and frozen steaks, meat, poultry and seafood; and free tire and automotive services.
S&R Iloilo offers two kinds of memberships: Gold Membership and Business Membership.
Gold Membership is available to all qualifying individuals aged 18 years old and above, while the Business Membership is offered to business owners and managers.
S&R Iloilo is a membership-shopping club modeled after the warehouse shopping chains in the US./PN
