KALIBO, Aklan – New officers of the Aklan Photographers Society, Inc. want to promote tourism in the province.
Their photographs would be their contribution, according to Joel Juliano, the organization’s president.
The organization considers partnering with several government institutions and local government units.
“My main goal for [the organization] is to seek out opportunities for service and increase [our] recognition,” said Juliano, who will be the group’s president for two years.
“We will commit to inspire and motivate others to love photography and become proactive partners of government in upholding and promoting the best and the beauty of Aklan,” he said.
For years, the organization has been taking shots of various tourist attractions not only in Aklan but also in neighboring provinces of Capiz and Antique. (PNA)
