ILOILO City – An unlicensed .45 pistol was recovered from a 59-year-old man in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Calinog, Iloilo.
The suspect was Eduardo Casiple of Macapagal Street, Calinog. He was detained at the municipal police station around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Casiple was arrested by policemen conducting a saturation drive at Jalaud KTV Bar. He was binge drinking there.
According to the police, Casiple failed to present documents showing his legal ownership of the .45 pistol.
The suspect faces a charge for illegal gun possession – a violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
