ILOILO City – After seven years of eluding the police, a man charged with attempted homicide was finally arrested.
The 46-year-old Rafael Aligno was served with an arrest warrant by policemen around 7:05 p.m. on Jan. 5 in Barangay Tanza Timawa II, City Proper. He was then detained at Police Station 1.
The suspect’s arrest warrant was issued by Judge Enrique Trespeces of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 10 on March 9, 2009 yet.
As of this writing, it was unclear if Aligno was able to post bail.
The court set the bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P12,000./PN
