ILOILO City – For allegedly stealing watermelons, two teenagers were detained at the police station of President Roxas, Capiz.

Argold Amaricio, 19, and Arnel Abarides were caught in Barangay Poblacion, President Roxas before dawn yesterday morning.

Around 1:25 a.m. policemen patrolling the barangay spotted the two carrying watermelon.

Police Officers 2 Dexter Valenzuela and Ben Patricio said the watermelon was owned by 54-year-old Daniel Alepante who was sleeping that time./PN
