ILOILO City – In Barangay Poblacion, Balasan, Iloilo a police operation recovered unlicensed guns and ammunitions.
The 51-year-old Rolly Habanadas was also arrested. The recoveries were from his house.
The police raided Habanadas’ house on Jan. 31 around 7:30 a.m. They found the following:
* .45 pistol with 48 live ammunitions
* .357 revolver with 14 live ammunitions
* gun holster
* empty bullet shell of .45 pistol
* ammunitions for a .22 revolver.
Habanadas was detained at the Balasan police station. It was unclear as of this writing where he got his guns and ammunitions.
Habanadas faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
