ILOILO City – A 79-year-old man was found dead in the Jalaur River, Barangay Tuburan, Pototan, Iloilo yesterday.
Wilfredo Gumban was last seen alive leaving his house in the morning of Feb. 1 to supposedly gather firewood. He failed to return home.
Son Jim found his father floating in the river around 6 a.m. yesterday
Gumban’s family believed he accidentally fell into the water and drowned./PN
