ILOILO City – Two men suspected of stealing a television set have been arrested.
Arevalo policemen collared Dave de Leon, 24, and Rowel Asada, 27, in Barangay Calumpang, Molo district around 3:30 p.m. on August 4.
The suspects were residents of Zone 11 and Zone 13, Barangay Calaparan.
A witness identified the two as the ones who had stolen a television set worth P16,000 and P500 in cash owned by Nello Alagban, 73, of Zone 13.
The items were stolen at Alagban’s restaurant.
Witness Rene Talento, 32, alleged that he had seen three persons around 2 a.m. of August 4 walking along the shore and carrying the television set./PN
