ILOILO City – A Mitsubishi pickup and a tricycle collided in Barangay Tabugon, Dingle, Iloilo. One died and one was injured.
Fish vendor Cecil de Julian of Concepcion, Iloilo was declared “dead on arrival” at the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in nearby Pototan town on Saturday afternoon.
Her husband Randy, 41, survived the vehicular accident but sustained injuries.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. on Saturday, according to Senior Inspector Marvin Buenavista, Dingle police chief.
The de Julians were bound for Passi City, he added.
The pickup driver, 41-year-old William Pama of Barangay Iprog, San Enrique, Iloilo, was detained at the Dingle police station./PN
