ILOILO City – A 38-year-old woman complained to the police yesterday she won in the Small Town Lottery (STL) but the solicitor through whom she placed her bet failed to give her the prize money.
If Arlet Mallorca of Barangay General Hughes-Montes, City Proper were to be believed, she won P25,500.
At Police Station 1 where she registered her complaint, Mallorca identified the bet solicitor – Cecilia Audencio.
According to Mallorca, she placed her bet on Saturday. Audencio was posted on Delgado Street, Barangay Danao, City Proper, she added.
After learning that her chosen number combinations won, Mallorca said she immediately went back to Audencio to collect her prize but the bet solicitor did not give her any.
