ILOILO City – A councilman of Barangay Sto. Rosario Duran, City Proper had a man arrested yesterday.
According to Edsel Adarga, 39, the 26-year-old Benjie Castillon of Barangay Veterans Village threatened to hit him.
He sought the police’s help and Castillon was taken to Police Station 1.
Around 6:30 a.m., Adarga said, he asked Castillon to return the water pump steel handle that the latter borrowed.
Castillon refused and became belligerent, said Adarga.
Castillon could not be reached for comment as of this writing./PN
