BACOLOD City – Four people were arrested in separate illegal drug buy-bust operations here and in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Caught in Silay was Angelo Roa, 30, of Sitio Baraday, Barangay Rizal. He surrendered in July 2016 during Oplan Double Barrel but continued trading drugs, police said.
Operatives of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drug Enforcement Unit and the Silay City police station seized from him two plastic packs of suspected shabu, P200 cash and several drug paraphernalia.
On the other hand, police arrested Emil Rolan, 22, of Barangay 12 here. He was caught selling suspected shabu at the Vendor’s Plaza on Saturday. Three plastic packs of suspected shabu were seized from him.
On Monday two others from this city — Joel Oro of Barangay Banago and Jim Carey, 27, of Barangay Singcang-Airport — were caught around 3:30 a.m. in Banago. They yielded three plastic packs of suspected shabu.
All four suspects were detained and charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
