ILOILO City – Thirteen sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from a man arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mapili, San Enrique, Iloilo yesterday.
Benjie Onofre, 42, of the same place was caught by the Task Force Against Illegal Drugs led by Inspector Charlie Sustento around 1 p.m. He sold to an undercover police a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500.
The recovered stuff had a street value of P15,000.
Onofre was detained at the lock-up cell of the San Enrique police station. He faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
