ILOILO City – In Barangay Malandog, Hamtic, Antique a 24-year-old woman and her one-year-old son were stabbed. The suspect was the woman’s live-in partner.
The stabbing happened on Sunday around 9:20 p.m., police said. Helen Narciso and son Roland Columbres Jr. were rushed to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in San Jose, Antique.
The police arrested the suspect, Roland Columbres Sr., 26.
Narciso and son had wounds on their heads.
Police said Columbres Sr. was acting strangely before attacking the mother and son with a knife.
The suspect was detained at the Hamtic police station./PN
