BACOLOD City – Four persons were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Punta Taytay.
They were residents Eldin Palma, Rebeca Makilan, Steven John Gabayoyo, and Lourdes Guillena, a police report showed.
The suspects were caught playing mahjong around 5 p.m. on July 29, the report added.
Recovered from their possession were P150 bet money and mahjong tiles.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 9, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, or the anti-illegal gambling law./PN
