A perverted fixation with other people’s ID cards

LATELY there seems to be a minor outbreak among government officials, particularly those belonging to the House of Representatives i.e. congressmen to grab forcefully or otherwise other people’s identification cards.

The sudden waslik poder or show of force not only as a supposedly person of authority but also as a “man” of force to physically grab the identification card of another person who usually happens to be someone these “afflicted” congressmen perceive as inferior to them can only be described at best or worst as perverted.

And perverted, according to that online encyclopedia, is “deviating greatly from what is regarded as normal or right; distorted”.

And distorted, to the uninitiated, means “giving a misleading or false account or impression; misrepresented.

So we’re clear on that and based on these definitions I would assume we would agree that the act of grabbing another person’s identification card is definitely perverted.

I think moi will go as far as saying the act of grabbing another person’s identification card is an infantile desperate move to impose one’s perceived power covering up that person’s actual inadequacies i.e. Tindig Pilipinas.

And that means ID card grabbers are suffering from erectile dysfunction just like those morons who believe that their gun is an extension of their cute penis.

Remember dismissed “I Am Iloilo City Mayor” Jed Mabilog with his penchant for putting his picture in the identification cards of senior citizens issued by the city government not to mention business permits, etc.?

What do you make of that? Anyway, Jed is already history and politically dead; talking more about him is just really boring.

On the other hand, this one is definitely not boring. Iin fact the natives are really pissed off and are still talking about it.

Excerpts from the Oct. 1 issue of Philstar.com:

Officials say Bertiz violated airport security protocols

The Office for Transportation Security on Monday said Rep. Aniceto “John” Bertiz III violated protocol after he was seen refusing to undergo a security check and berating the screener at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in a viral video.

OTS Administrator Art Evangelista said the solon clearly committed a “breach of protocol” when he declined to take off his shoes at the final checkpoint in the domestic departure area of the NAIA Terminal 2 last Saturday.

He was also seen forcibly taking the identification card of the security personnel, who was later on identified as Hamilton Abdul, which drew flak on social media. Online users described Bertiz as “disrespectful.”

If you based it on the video, there is a breach of protocol. It’s clear. Will you do the same, snatch the ID of the security personnel?” Evangelista said in a recorded press briefing.

Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Ed Monreal also said in a press briefing on Monday afternoon that Bertiz has no authority to take the screener’s ID.

We are, of course, talking about ACTS-OFW party-list representative Aniceto Bertiz III who prefers to be “John” instead of Aniceto for reasons only known to him.

On Sept. 29 he was caught on NAIA Terminal 2 CCTV refusing to remove his shoes at the final checkpoint and brandishing his ID as congressman at the airport security personnel who accosted him and in the same breath forcefully grabbed that person’s identification card.

That blatant show of waslik poder and acute affliction of entitlement in a perverted way united the whole nation in condemning this asshole and calling for his ouster from the party-list he supposedly represents in the House of Representatives.

This asshole is supposed to represent OFWs but it turned out he’s not one but a recruiter, just another proof of the perversion and corruption of the party-list system.

Moi joins the nation in demanding that this asshole Bertiz be burned at stake then drawn and quartered.

Meanwhile in “I Am Iloilo City” another version of ID grabbing happened which prompted this question:

Excerpts from the Oct. 2 issue of Panay News:

Did Treñas threaten city gov’t assistant dep’t head?

If the assistant department head of the city government’s City Planning and Development Office were to be believed, Cong. Jerry Treñas threatened her.

According to Architect Dolly Zoluaga, she presented to Treñas the city government’s “Development of Park in the City’s Civic Center” project at the congressman’s office Thursday last week.

“Daw lain ang pag-take niya… it’s unfortunate nga ang pag-interpret niya is daw ginahingabot siya,” said Zoluaga yesterday.

Treñas denied threatening or harassing Zoluaga but admitted he may have raised his voice a bit.

He said he would file a complaint for technical malversation before the Ombudsman against Zoluaga and possibly other city government officials.

According to Zoluaga, Treñas took her office identification card and had it photocopied.

“Gin-threaten niya ako. Kun may matabo kuno dira sa surroundings, file-lan niya ako kaso,” said Zoluaga.

She described Treñas during their meeting as “loud kag intimidating.”

This is my question: why the fixation with this person’s identification card? Cong. Jerry Treñas could just simply ask her who she is.

There is really no need for the subtle show of authority by getting another person’s identification card and have it photocopied like some kind of damming evidence.

Or maybe it’s just another case of perverted fixation with other people’s ID cards. (brotherlouie16@gmail.com/PN)
