ROXAS City – An abandoned newborn was found with a severed right leg and a broken left knee after being mouth-carried by a dog in Sitio Calumdom, Barangay Tiza, Roxas City, yesterday.
The baby girl was carried by the dog under a sofa in the house of the Abasiar family.
She was immediately brought to St. Anthony College Hospital for treatment.
Residents allegedly saw two students scurrying off on a motorcycle from the area where the newborn was left.
Punong Barangay Alfredo Albaladejo said they would try to look for the parents of the newborn. (With reports from Bombo Radyo Roxas)/PN
