MANILA – Adamson University Lady Falcons claimed the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference throne with an emphatic 25-19, 25-6, 25-17 win over the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses yesterday at the San Juan Arena.
Lorene Toring top-scored with 15 points, including six blocks, while Conference MVP Trisha Genesis added 14 markers, on 10 attacks and four service aces.
The Lady Falcons swept the best-of-three championship series, 2-0.
Rizza Cruz also submitted double-digit output of 10 points. Lucille Almonte had nine markers and 10 excellent receptions while Finals MVP Louie Romeor had 24 excellent sets.

Meanwhile, Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles clinched the third place trophy with a 25-20, 25-14, 22-25, 25-19 sweep over College of St. Benilde Lady Blazers. Faith Nisperos led the Lady Eagles on offense with 21 points./PN
