BACOLOD City – He was hiding from the police for about 19 years.
The 47-year-old Melicio Parcon Jr. of Barangay V.F. Gustilo, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant in relation to the robbery charge he faces around 12:50 p.m. on Jan. 21
Officers of the Sagay City police station served the warrant issued by Judge Renato Muñez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City dated Nov. 15, 2001.
The suspect was detained in the Sagay City police station’s custodial facility.
The court recommended a P40,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
