ILOILO City – Police arrested a man facing murder charges in Barangay Ipil, Balasan, Iloilo.
The 43-year-old Jesus Depol was a resident of Barangay Cadio Panit-an, Capiz.
He was hiding from authorities for about four years, police said.
Depol’s apprehension around 5:25 p.m. on Sept. 24 was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Kristine Tiangco of the Regional Trial Court Branch 16 in Roxas City, Capiz.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Balasan municipal police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
