ACTRESS Aiko Melendez had to undergo surgery after getting one of her fingers fractured during a workout.
According to the 44-year-old celebrity, her surgery came following a heavy impact on one of her fingers while doing her usual boxing workout. But this time around, she was wearing thin gloves which eventually led her to the injury.
“Alam niyo namang matagal na ako nag-boboxing. And it’s one of those days na mali ‘yung knits na nasuot ko – ‘yung handwrap na nasuot ko. Medyo manipis,” she said in the video.
She went on:“Sa impact ng suntok na ginagawa ko duringmy cardio workout na bale na-fracture ‘yung fourth finger ko.”
Currently wearing a cast, Melendez said she has yet to recover fully from the injury. (Push)
